The acclaimed four-piece ensemble brings their massive 360-degree “Cen+ral” tour to AsiaWorld-Arena for a two-night residency in May 2026.
The wait is finally over for Hong Kong’s J-rock enthusiasts as Clockenflap Presents confirms that King Gnu will make their highly anticipated city debut this spring. As part of their “King Gnu CEN+RAL Tour 2026″—the largest concert circuit in the band’s history—the group will take over the AsiaWorld-Arena for two consecutive nights on May 29 and 30. This landmark visit marks the first time local fans can experience the band’s eclectic “Tokyo New Mixture Style” live on a scale rarely seen in the region.
A Fusion of Genres and Global Hits
Since their formation in 2017, King Gnu has defied traditional genre boundaries. Comprised of Daiki Tsuneta, Yu Seki, Kazuki Arai, and Satoru Iguchi, the quartet has built a reputation for seamlessly blending alternative rock with jazz, hip-hop, and classical textures.
While they skyrocketed to domestic fame with the 2019 masterpiece Hakujitsu, which has garnered over half a billion views, their international footprint has expanded significantly through high-profile anime collaborations. From the haunting melodies of Jujutsu Kaisen’s “SPECIALZ” and “Sakayume” to “TWILIGHT!!!”—the theme for the latest Detective Conan film—King Gnu has become a dominant force on global digital charts.
An Immersive 360-Degree Spectacle
Moving away from the standard end-stage configuration, the Hong Kong shows will feature a centre-stage layout. This ambitious production design places the band in the heart of the arena, offering a 360-degree viewing experience. The arrangement is intended to foster a deeper connection between the musicians and the audience, ensuring that every seat in the house provides a unique perspective of their high-octane performance.

What to Expect: The Setlist
While an official setlist for the Hong Kong leg remains under wraps, recent performances in Japan suggest a marathon experience. Concertgoers can expect a set of approximately 25 songs spanning over two and a half hours.
Based on current tour data, the repertoire will likely feature a balance of career-defining hits and fresh material. Fans should prepare for the anthemic “Teenager Forever,” the groovy “Prayer X,” and the cinematic “Ichizu.” With the band’s reputation for technical precision and raw energy, these shows are poised to be a highlight of the 2026 Hong Kong concert calendar.
As the city continues to cement its status as a premier stop for international acts, the arrival of King Gnu represents a significant win for the local music scene. Fans are encouraged to secure tickets early, as this debut is expected to sell out rapidly.
